We offer a range of services to meet the needs of the community, including prayer timings, Jumu'ah Khutbah timings, schedule and videos, Taraweeh, Qiyam in Ramadan, I'tikaf registration, and Eid prayer timing.

Jumu'ah services

1st Khutbah starts at 1:00 p.m. Iqamah at 1:25 p.m.
2nd Khutbah starts at 2:00 p.m. Iqamah at 2:25 p.m.

Ramadan & Eid

Taraweeh, Sponsor Iftar, Zakat or Fidya payment, Qiyam, I'tikaf, Eid prayer timing and announcements

Taraweeh

Come and join our Huffaadh Imam Shaheed Coovadia, Brother Ali Abed and Brother Ahmad for Taraweeh each evening this Ramadan. There will be a total of 20 raka'at every night. In shaa Allah, the Khatm al-Quran will be on the night of 29 of Ramadan 1445 AH.

Sponsor Iftar

This year, 2024, Masjid is opening iftar sponsorship for the weekends only. Sponsorship is on first come first serve basis. The sponsoring groups will have to plan and bring their own catering or cook their own food and bring to the Masjid for Iftar. Jazaakumullahu khairan katheeran for all those who sponsored this year!

I'tikaf Registration

Registration is closed.

Qiyam

Nightly Qiyam will be held in the last 10 nights and begins at 3:30 a.m.

Zakat Al-Fitr

Zakat Al-Fitr, paid by the head of the household for each member of the family before Eid Al-Fitr prayer, is about the price of one meal. The amount to be paid this year is $10 per person. You can pay at Masjid Bilal or via online (please put a note the payment is for Zakat Al-Fitr).

Fidya

What is Fidya? Fidya is a religious donation made in Islam when a fast in Ramadan is broken or when a person is unable to fast. Donations can be in food or money and are used to feed those in need.

Who Should Pay Fidya? Pregnant women, permanently ill individuals, elderly who cannot fast, those with mental illness and those in need of regular medications.

How Much Do You Need to Pay? The estimated cost is $10 per each day.

Eid Announcement

Eid Announcement see below.

When: EID salat will be on Wednesday, April 10th. Salat will begin promptly at 9 am. The doors will be open at 7:30am. Please plan to arrive early to allow time to park.

Where: Rupp Arena Central Bank Center, 430 West Vine Street, Lexington, KY, 40507 upper-level ballroom.

Parking: Gate 2 on High Street. Parking WILL NOT BE FREE. There will be a fee to park. The elderly may be dropped off in front of the building on Main Street.

Notes
1. The ballroom is not carpeted, therefore, bring a prayer rug.
2. Upon entering the ballroom do not block the entrance; please follow the instructions of the volunteers on wear to sit.
3. Please be courteous to all of the prayer attendees and refrain from speaking during the Khutbah.
4. Please plan to arrive early as traffic and the walk from the parking lot to the ballroom WILL delay your trip.
